Gefr. Siegfried Meier JG 301 1. Stff. 26.11.44
Hi All,
looking for all Informations about Gefreiter Siegfried Meier, KIA 26. 11. 44 Area of Minden /Germany in Air Battle with P-51 Mustangs. Buried at Minden. Place of Death and Date of Birth/Place unknown. Thank`s for helping, streak98

He was shot down in air combat with the US P-51's of the 339th fighter group. I./JG 301 was literally chased out of the sky by this fighter group as they tried to defend the Misburg oil refineiries to the west of the city.

He flew a Fw 190 A-8 W.Nr. 176 063.
Perhaps you take a look into the burial documents (Bestattungsbuch) of the New Cemetery Minden for more details. Kaczmarek
