in your database I´ve found this :

This was my fathers (Fw. Helmut Bäumener) FW190 A-5, forced landed at 1943-09-08 on farmland between Sainghin en Melantois / Bouvines, shotdown
by Spitfire, maybe F/Sgt R.A. BLUMER/ 91 Nigeria Squadron.
All facts of this day are checked completely.

I am interested to find more details about 1943-06-16 and what happens at this day. My father told me nothing about it.
Maybe you got any information for me ? I tried to get some infos from Don Caldwell but he couldn´t help.
Also I looking for the tactical number of my fathers A-5 as he crashed at 1943-09-08. On pictures that I have there is
nothing to see (no perspective to see it).
