Unknown Luftwaffe Spinner - Ju-88?

Does anyone know what A/C this spinner is for? I am thinking it is either Ju88 or He-111. Data Plate reads: 9-21027.31-71.11

Hi Harrison987,

First, very informative photographs.

Second, the Hersteller code appears to be, “awl.” If so, I believe it represents, Union-Gesellschaft für Metallindustrie, Silsvan de Loo & Co./Mun.

As a WAG, could the Sach-nr. “9-21027” possibly indicate it comes from a Me 210?

I take my WAG back. Them more I look at its shape, the less it looks like an Me 210 and more like a spinner from a BMW 801-powered aircraft.

Re: Unknown Luftwaffe Spinner - Ju-88?

Isn't Flugel 9-12049.10 also used on the Bf-110?

See VDM Verstelluftschraube Ersatzteilliste Blatt 6

Re: Unknown Luftwaffe Spinner - Ju-88?

From my research here and on other forums the Flugel 9-12049.10 was used on the Bf-110 and Me-210 as they both used the DB 601F and the propeller was designed for the engine not the aircraft.
