100 Year Old Aces
I know of two Allied/American aces who have reached 100 years. The recently deceased Mike Gladych (Polish, 101 years), and Fritz Payne (USMC) who celebrated his 100th birthday on July 31. The editor of the Bulletin of the American Fighter Aces Association will be preparing an article on these two. I am interested in learning of any other Allied aces who have reached 100 years old. I would appreciate it if you could supply the actual date of birth, and if deceased, the date of death.
Enjoy! Frank.
