Friedrich Jirmann KG51

Hello,

Does anybody have information about a Friedrich Jirmann of KG51? He flew Me 110, 210, and Me 410. It might be that he belonged to another unit than KG51.

Thank you.
Regards,
Roger Gaemperle

Jirmann joined 13/KG 2 in Oct 43, this unit then becoming 5/KG 51. He was wounded 25 Jun 44 when probably shot down by Jameson & Crookes of 488 Sqn. He was still with KG 51 at the end of the war. I have copies of all of Jirmann's photos

Chris,

Thank you for your message. That's very interesting. Are the photos you mentioned from publications? Or do you have originals or scans directly from the originals?

Kind regards,
Roger

Hello Chris,

did Jirmann also fly the Me262 at the end of war? What was his rank?
