Thank you John.

Only if all 1940 losses were so good documented, but W.Nr. seems either 5152 or 3152. Attached is BA-MA RL 2/III 1175 GQM loss report, seems it was 65% damaged. Unit usually (later) unit was called Westa 5, getting code D7+_H.

Some of the rest og the pictures shows us that the plane was dismantled and transported on an old lorry to a harbour next to the farm, the rest of the transport to what I think must be Vaernes airfield was by boat.

Thanks for your reply Ed!
Yes this is a very fun picture serie to have , it`s over 30 pictures in total showing the plane complete on the ground to the transport on boat.

I am a novice you could say about all this units , codes ...
But I am curios and I hope you can explaine why there i two W.nr connected to this plane?

John Fredrik

If any would like to have the complete serie on email , send me your email adress on PM.

Place seems not ideal for a forcelanding , a good piece of luck, or/nd superskilled pilot

John.
Serial given is complete. Basically its question on understanding He 111 production, and the many factories producing it. I am no expert on this.

Here in GQM it is only hard to read, either 5152 or 3152 as you can see on scan. My guess is that it is 3152 but I might be wrong. I am only interested in cause it was weather plane flying to Jan Mayen area.

Re: H111/H2 DE +GS Wnr 5152 Picture series

3152 is the good one , 5152 is not valid for an He111, quite a new plane acceptance in July 40
