Re: Reporting / Recovery of German aircraft in German territory

Hi.

Parts do survive, I have some documents in this category in my archive, concerning recovered german aircraft.

Found interesting details on losses in 1944 otherwise not available in these records.

Regards,
Andreas B

Andreas - thanks. My main interest (given the relatively narrow remit of my own research) is in the recoveries made by Bergebataillon VII between May and September 1944 in the area around Muenster-Loddenheide. Have you come across any recoveries for this unit?

Any other clues as to other recoveries also appreciated as I have contact with people researching loss information but understand if you're saving this for your 1944 project.
