Oblt/Peter Schnoor
Schnoor was St Kap of 3/606 in 1941 and in 1944 was Gr Kdr of IV/KG 77. He was awarded the DKiG and was alive in Jan 45. Again, any ideas of his subsequent history?

Hi Chris,
Schnoor survived the war as a Maj and Gr.Kdr. of II/EKG1. I don't know what happened to him after the war. Best Regards Andy Fletcher

Thanks-another one of these elusive 606 aces. I have him as St Kap 3/606 after the death of Oblt Rudolf Diehl 27-28 Jul 41

Kü.Fl.Gr.606 certainly seem to have been a gruppe of over achievers judging by the amount of awards they received in relation to similar units. Right place at the right time I suppose. Andy Fletcher
