Question Storch 156 WkNr 607 D-IHKT : crashed at Bulson?

Hi,

A friend has this Storch label infound on a may 1940 battle field near Bulson. It is said that this a/c was abandoned after a crash landing:

"156.37
WkNr 607

10.5.1937"

I have collected information: this is a civil Storch 156 A-O matriculated as D-IHKT.

Does anyone have information about her history or a crash photo?

Thank you

Hallo Arnaud

No help, but I am curious what you mean by 156.37 and the date 10.5.1937.
According to Karl Kössler this A-0 made its first flight on 22.5.1937 piloted by Schäfer.

I would also be interested if someone knows how far up the WNr went in the initial 601 etc range (650 is the last one listed by Kössler)

Cheers
Stig

Hallo,

I just repeat a question asked to me by a friend. I am not 100 % sure. I didn’t see this label and the crash land place was said so. I could double check or ask for a photo if you think the date is wrong...

I have no other information of a German plane crashed here, I just hope someone could give some more information about that strange aircraft.

For me she is a civil aircraft... Was she used by a military unit? Find that aircraft in a middle of a May 1940 battle field close to a important French Headquarter “Fond Dagot” is strange.

I am not a specialist in that type of aircraft, so...

Bon vol
