loss of Feldwebel ciprian gropper +22.12.1943
Hi guys,

Can anyone please provide details over the loss of feldwebel ciprian gropper who was killed on 22.12. 1943 ?

Hi Mike,

Fw. Cyprian Gropper was badly wounded in a crashlanding due to engine failure November 11th 1943 near Steinhude and died of wounds december 23rd 1943,
III./ZG26 Bf 110 G-2 serial 6242 damage is given with 85%, no other crew mentioned.

1943-12-22, 8./ZG 26, Bf 110G-2, 120019, 8 schw, 2 km nordwestlich Witmarsum, Friesland, Absturz um 15.15 Uhr infolge Luftkampf. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Fw Gropper, Cyprian, +
Bordfunker Uffz Lange, Heinrich, verletzt

Matti is correct - I missed the second entry - takeoff was from Wunstorf airfield.
