Wg Cdr Lord Forbes
Hi guys
Has anyone information on the activities of Wg Cdr Lord Forbes in Greece 1941? Apparently he was an AHQ Intelligence Officer who flew a Proctor on various clandestine operations. PS: I have now established that he was Wg Cdr Lord Arthur Patrick Hastings Forbes and was awarded the AFC for his work - Air Adviser to the RAF for ME - but am still seeking information about his Percival Q6 (not Proctor) flights in Greece 1941. Cheers Brian Last edited by Brian; 2nd October 2012 at 11:56. Reason: more information |

Re: Wg Cdr Lord Forbes
Brian,
There's some info about Lord Forbes' doings in his personal Proctor (G-AFMV) on this website: http://members.iinet.net.au/~clardo/1941.html Proctor later became HK838 in RAF-service. Regards, Leendert |

Re: Wg Cdr Lord Forbes
Thanks Leendert and Col
That's a start. Finding out his activities will be nigh impossible, I suspect. His AFC citation may help a little. Cheers Brian |
