Unknown for GQM losses? 14.Jul.43, raid on airfield Kuteinikowo

Hello, friends!

According to preliminary AA-report (Flakmeldung) of VO LF4 beim AOK6, during Soviet air raid on airfield Kuteinikowo on 04:30-05:00 14.Jul.1943 losses were:

destroyed: 1 Fi-156
badly damaged: 1 FW189, 1 Bf110
lightly damaged: 4 FW189, 1 Bf110, 2 Fi156, 1 W34, 1 Klemm

1 KIA, 2 badly wounded, 2 houses destroyed.

I can't find any of these losses in GQM. But some pages are poor copies and maybe some of the losses in question are on that pages.
Whether these losses are known?

Best regards,
Andrey

Andrey - anything you have on this airfield would be greatly appreciated. As you can see, I do not have much.

Your losses of 14 July are in the Gen.Qu. Verlustmeldungen under 15 July. Many of the loss reports for the East are dated one day after the fact.

Hello, Larry!

Thank you a lot! Valuable answer, as usual.

Probably destroyed Fi156 was accounted as 60-90% damaged, and all other a/c (excl.FW189) as <10% damaged.

I'll try to find something in documents of VO LF4 beim AOK6 and, from other side, 8.Air Army and LR aviation (ADD).

Best regards,
Andrey

Hi Andrey,

Glad to be of help!

I am mainly interested in information that helps to describe the airfield itself while occupied by the Germans, such as its dimensions, surface (grass, etc.), infrastructure (hangars, buildings, etc.).

Any little bit appreciated!

Larry
