The soviet 11th composite aviation division and the luftwaffe, 22 june 1941

The first part of the title is "A Storm on a Sunny Day." I do wish some publishers would avoid being lyrical and get to the point in their book listings. Too often, I see a military book with some flowery nonsense for a title. And it gets listed that way - and gets completely missed.

Scheduled for June of 2013.

This book on the 11 SAD was originally written as two books as the history for this one day for the 122 IAP and 127 IAP in Russian. I don't know if the author has added anything new on the translation.

The cover artwork looks very much like "Polikarpov Fighters in action" part 2

This is a author's story about 3 regiments of 11. SAD (excluding the fourth -190 SzAP, which was just formed), printed in Russsia in Bialoruss - Grodno. Plus to the 2 fighter it is a separate story about bomber regiment too - 16. SBAP. It was his the last edited booklet.
Very good stories indeed.

Material is upgarded, corrected by some new information, which have surfaced after the edition of each booklet.

Text in Russian is good written, based on some existing documents and materials gathered by his personal reseaches on the spot.

He is living near the places, which he writing about.

Regards,
mirekw
