Final fate of Fw 200 WNr 31
I would like to know the service history and fate of the Fw 200 C-3 WNr 31.
So far I thought it was damaged beyond repair on 2 March 1941, but it was apparently damaged after receiving 60% damage on this date, because I have short notes that it was again damaged at 40% at Lechfeld on 13 October 1941 and was lost on 31 July 1942 near Royan. If the above is true, I will be interested to have details of this loss. Thanks in advance Laurent |

Re: Final fate of Fw 200 WNr 31
Well Laurent
I haven't got much, but the aircraft was in service with IV./KG 40 at the time and coded F8+BT. It was probably on some kind of training flight when it crashed at Royan with pilot Oberleutnant Krebs. Cheers Stig |
