Loss of an Ju52 1944

Date 10.Mai, by Toplet/Orsowa Rumenia, official docs give Ju52 3225 PH+OI, but some expert people here around typ the Ju52 501326 PO+GO, both Wn are consistent with code given, question from where the 501326 is popping up ???

Re: Loss of an Ju52 1944

One of the passengers was a U-Boote officer and this crash was reported with some details in the magazine "U-Boot in Focus", number 2.

At the time, the French translation of the text was online and I found it one day, but it is no more available on the Net.

Richtig !

Kptltn. Rosenbaum , U-Bootflotille Schwarzmeer,

To add that Ju 3225 is a plane in the Ku.St. OKM , but not the 501326

Re: Loss of an Ju52 1944

Hello Remi!

There is a salvage report from this time frame in Rumania, which also gives a 501325 crashed the same day in the same area.
It also listed 3225.
There are more other sources for the loss of 3225, so this may be the right c/n.
There is also the possibility, that 2 a/c there lost in the same area the same day. But this may be low.

Regards

Dirk
