Re: Looking for Narrative Mission Report of 14. Fighter Group for July 8th, 1944

Kurtl12: I am sure copies of the mission reports are on file at the Maxwell AFB, Alabama history section. I know that years ago, I got copies of my victory encounters at Andrews AFB, DC. I unfortunately do not recall the name of the unit as it is over 50 years since I researched our 325th Fighter Group records there.
In the 2011 Fighter Aces roster, I find only one 14th FG ace still alive. If it is extremely important to you I could email him and ask if he has the info and would he be able to share it with you. You of course realize I have no way of knowing what his response would be as I am not personally acquainted with him.
Cordially, Art Fiedler mayfair35@aol.com
