Forrest Melvin Cox

Hello,
I beleive P/O Forrest Melvin Cox VR-103468 transfered from from 151 OTU on 28-8-42 to the USAAF. He came from Acton, Illinois.
Does anyone know his US service number and what units he was attached to please.
