21/08/1944 Amiens

Hi Gentlemen,
A new fighter and pilot to identify in this difficult period of August 1944.

“August 21, 1944 to 11:15 German fighter plane flying very low hit the ground in the outbuildings of the Amiens St Roch station. The engine exploded and set fire to two wagons already demolished, the pilot was killed, the Feldgendarmerie was transporting the body. Firemen went to the scene to extinguish the fire.” (French Gendarmerie report).
Any help is welcome.

Best regards,
