Question Tomahawk IIb AK146, 2 Sqn, crashed 23rd April 1942?

Hello everyone

On the NELSAM website (the North East Land Sea and Air Museum, formerly NEAM), it lists Tomahawk IIb AK146 of 2 Sqn as 'Abandoned and crashed near Durham'. Can anyone give any further details? Pilot, aircraft's individual letter, crash site perhaps?

I've tried to download the 2 Sqn ORB for April 1942 from the TNA website, but it seems to be playing up at the moment.

Regards

Simon
