He 177 aircraft with KG1 crashed in the near flugplatz Wormditt.

Welcome.

Referring to post No. 16 dated 25.05.2013 - Flugplatz Wormiditt:
" The second fell in the vicinity of Lubomino / ARNSDORF (5km south), 15km southeast of the airport
Wormditt
. Right between the villages of PETERSDORF and SCHWENKITTEN, Near Lake Tonka / DITTRICHSDORFER SEA. Was passed, it may be Ju88, He 117
My assumption may be misleading.
"
After the identification part of the remains of the aircraft,
we believe</SPAN> that this was the plane He 177.
The confirmation of the data that these aircraft were operated by KG1. This unit was based in East Prussia:
1. Stab KG1: 06/08/1944 - 07/21/1944 Prowehren
07.21.1944 - 08.1944 Seerappen

2. 2/KG 1: 08.06.1944 - 08.1944 Prowehren

Data from: http://www.feldgrau.com/KG1.htm

During this period, aircraft and stick KG1 2/KG1 engaged in raids on important facilities in Russia. Perhaps their flight
route can be ran near Wormditt.

With Prowehren to Wormditt is about 60 km.

Please kindly help in obtaining information about falls this aircraft He 177
Today, Wormditt (East Prussia) is named Orneta (Poland).
Thanks in advance for your help
Regards
Robert

Brian
Thank you for the information. I think it will be a difficult topic to explain.
The data you have bestowed on aircraft from another region than the region Wormditt.
Do you have other information about the losses the KG1? Perhaps the other gruppen (1/KG1, 3/KG1, 4/KG1) sent their planes to Stab/KG1 or 2/KG1.
Perhaps He177 aircraft flew only occasionally after 08.1944r? After 08.1944 disbanded KG1 and renamed JG7 .
JG7 equipped aircraft Me262.
He177 aircraft could operate flights from airports around Koningsberg (Kaliningrad, Russia) (from 08.1944)
Here's a link to the places where other aircraft are He177 (Siemiatycze, Poland)

Re: He 177 aircraft with KG1 crashed in the near flugplatz Wormditt.

Robert I did ask WAST for the NVMs for KG1 He177 losses, I had expected to get quite a few but this was not the case. The others I have include He177 of 4/KG1 crashed at Zardki on 15-6-44, the same day a He177 of 5/KG1 collided with a 177 of 6/KG1 with crash site given as 5km NNW der Strasse Siemiatycza nach Ciehanowiec. On 27-6-44 V4+EN was reported missing following take off from Fl.Pl Bobruisk while V4+LP crashed near Fl/Pl. Baranowitsche also on the 27-6-44. On 28-7-44 V4+PT fell to a Russian fighter N/W of Schaulen by Joniskis.
I am afraid that is all I have,
