Re: Photo help - Nachtjagdegeschwader 2 - missing crew

Hello Rick,

Just noted a little mistake in the Gajewski bio -he did not serve with 1./NJG2, only with 8. and 6./NJG2. Sorry about that.

Cheers, Theo

PS: would it be possible to send me a scan of the Gajewski crew photo, for publication in the Nachtjagd War Diaries 2nd edition? That would be great!

Hi Rick,

Tried to PM you but your inbox is too full. Therefore my reply on the forum: may I thank you very much for your willingness to share the Gajewski crew photo, which will be a great new illustration for the Nachtjagd War Diaries 2nd edition. I will of course give your name as the source of the photo in the new book!

Could you send me a high resolution scan of the photo when you receive the original and send it to my private email address:

theoboitenATversatel.nl

AT = @

In the 5 volumes of the NJWD 2nd ed. I will publish an estimated 1,000 photos, so far I have selected some 700 for the new book. All 5 volumes (each of est. 400 pages) will be published by Red Kite in the UK in 2015.

Cheers, Theo

Hi,

Photos have arrived - one caption has a Oberfeldwebel Krause (KIA) and Uffz. P??weiger. Are these notables in NJG 2?
