Seeking Photo/Info for full code on 5(F)/122 Do17P SD 23.11.39 at Bras-sur Meuse, N of Verdun, France

Hello,

Regarding this incident:

"23 November 1939: 5.(F)/122 Dornier Do17P-1. Shot down by S/Lt Robert Martin and Sgt-Chef Pierre Le Gloan of GC III/6 during reconnaissance of airfields between Avesnes and Montcornet and crashed at Bras-sur-Meuse, north of Verdun. (BeO) Lt Kurt Behnke, (FF) Uffz Hans Schrutek, and (BF) Uffz Arthur Herrmann believed baled out and captured unhurt. Aircraft 100% write-off."

I've acquired several inages of this force-landed Do17P, including a segment of French newsreel film. However, I still don't know the full fuselage code, which should be F6+_N. Does anyone have any information that would provide the missing code letter, or photos that show the coding on the side of the fuselage of this aircraft? It was well photographed, so these must be out there somewhere. I need this for a Color Profile research package for the EoE Project.

Thanx for your help.

Regards,

Larry Hickey
