Uffz. Lothar Aue--6/JG2--Summer 1943
Uffz. Lothar Aue was a pilot with staffeln 6 of JG2 in the summer of 1943. He along with Ltn. Fritz Karch shot down my father's B-17F (42-29928)near the village of La Coulonche, L'Orne, France on 4 July 1943.
Karch was a well known fighter pilot and there are lots of materials on his career, but I have been unable to find anything on Lothar Aue. Is their any member that has some information on this pilot's background, career, etc.? Thanks
