Squadron Leader A N Combe AFC
Gents,
Prior to assuming command of No.218 Squadron on July 13th 1940 S/Ldr Combe AFC was stationed / operating from RAF West Raynham / No.71 Wing. The 218 ORB records him flying in from West Raynham on three occasions prior to taking command. I have checked No.101, No.139 & No.18 Squadron ORB's in the hope that S/Ldr Combe was operational with either of these squadrons. It appears not, both drew a blank. Can anyone help with details on either S/Ldr Combe AFC for these period, or provide details on any other squadron based at RAF West Raynham between June - July 1940. TIA
