Helmut Konter of I./NJG 100

Hi Guys

Helmut Konter is rather an enigma, I have him with fifteen claims from 20th October 1943 until 5th August 1944, the first thirteen over Soviet aircraft, then here nothing more of him except a date of death of 1st March 1945. However I now think this is spurious, I have claims(but beyond the time frame of the micro films) of 8th March 1945 and four on 27th March 1945 for his last five claims, moreover I do have the Luftwaffe losses(though missing most of 1944) and NJG 100's losses are there, but no Konter.

Can anybody add any substance to his life/death, a Date of Birth would be good, and a Date of death even better. Seems his last known rank was Leutnant!
