Re: DFC Citation of Harold Edward Walmsley

Hello Serge

From that well known publication "Honour the Air Forces" by Michael Maton, the mention is on page 1712 of the supplement to the 11 April 1944 London Gazette, and is against 132 Squadron in a batch without an actual citation.

I will be sending you a copy by e-mail of the page.

In the meantime:

http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issu...pplements/1711

http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issu...pplements/1712

and here is his one for services with 350 (Belgian) Squadron

http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issu...pplements/3682

which actually has a citation for the Bar to his DFC

regards

Allan
