![]() When designing the cover for my next WWII book, in the interest of historical accuracy, I was hoping someone on this great forum could help please.
Can anyone confirm my belief that the Bf 109's from 10./JG2 all displayed the same tail ship tally markings as Staffel Kapitän Oblt Frank Liesendahl's Bf 109 f4 Blue 1? I have seen photographs of 10./JG2's Blue 7 with the same tail markings suggesting that the markings represent a Staffel score board rather than an individual pilot's tally. |
