Sholto Douglas leaves Middle East

Have searched through bio's of ACM Sholto Douglas as I'd like to find out on what day he left the ME, the route which was probably Cairo, Malta, Gib, Portreath Northalt perhaps someone could confirm and the day he started in January 1944 at Coastal Command?

Many Thanks

Andy Bird
