Boston losses 31.10.1942
Hi all,
Does anyone have any information concerning the loss of a Boston to fighters on 31.10.42 in or around the Comines area about midday? Looking for aircraft codes, crew, fate, etc. Any details would be most welcome. regards Adam

Hello,
I think that two RAF Bostons were lost this date, have not looked for any USAAF. RAF a/c were W8297 ( On the ground ) and Z2179, ( F/O. Henry P. Collings ) both I think were from 88 Sqdn. Another, Z2224 ( F/O Donald K. Hulme ) also of 88 Sqdn was lost on the 1st Nov. Alex Last edited by Alex Smart; 31st March 2014 at 13:30.
