Sgt. Albert Edgar “Arthur” Marsland - 1214303 (RAF 49 sq.)

Dear all,

At the moment I research the crash of the 49 squadron Lancaster JB545 who crashed on the night of 16/17 December 1943 near a little Dutch Hamlet called Oldetrijne.

The Flight Engineer on this flight was Sgt. Albert Edgar “Arthur” Marsland. Sadly his name, rank, en his serial (1214303) is the only think i know. En that he was from somewhere in Great Britain

I hope someone here could help with some additional about Albert.

After the crash he en the other crewmembers where buried at the Cemetery at Wolvega, The Netherlands.
