JG 102 losses on 18 October 1944

Hello,

18 October was a bad day for I./JG 102 in Denmark with at least an air collision and an attack by 316 Sqn during which one aircraft was shot down and four more (two Ar 96s and two Bf 109s) force landed to evade the attackers.

Soren Flensted excellent site on the air war over Denmark lists these losses, but it is not clear if the belly landed aircraft were damaged beyond repair or not (one picture exists and the aircraft seems not badly damaged). Apparently Soren could not find details of these losses in Luftwaffe loss lists.

Can someone confirm the losses suffered by I./JG 102 this day (in terms of aircraft destroyed or damaged) ?

Thanks in advance

Thanks Karsten, so you have at least two total losses (Haugk Bf 109 and Rose Ar 96).

Can you tell me what is your source for Rose's Ar 96 percentage damage?

The info on my site is from danish reports. I have not been able to locate German reports. As you know loss reports from summer 1944 and forward are at best limited.
