616 Squadron Meteor F1s
Whilst I have details of all of 616 Squadron Meteor kills against V-1 flying bombs, including copies of combat reports, I do not have serial numbers of the Meteors involved in these kills. Has anyone such details (not in ORB). I believe the first six operational Meteors were EE213/YQ-A; EE214/YQ-B; EE216/YQ-C; EE219/YQ-D; EE227.YQ-Y and EE229/YQ-W. Can anyone challenge this?
Also, I wish to learn the fornames of the pilots who made the kills: T.D. Dean, J.K. Rodger, G. Hobson, R. Easy, T.S. Woodacre, P.G. Watts, M. Mullenders (Belgian), H. Miller, E. Epps. Fingers crossed Cheers Brian |
