Re: Me262 Loss Info needed April 1945

Hi!

Thanks for the link...

I am looking for more "Specific" information...I read there was one on this day:

19.04.45: Me 262 of I./K.G.(J) 54 shot down by enemy fighter while landing, pilot killed

But no location is given...

Also the link to the Stormbirds loss list does not work...

Re: Me262 Loss Info needed April 1945

Radtke gives the following info in his book on KG54 for that day:
30-40 Me262 took off from Prag (I'm using the german designations) of which 4 were already shot down during take off by P-51's & 3 returned damaged by gun fire.
Probably 2 of the lost Me262 belonged to I./KG(J)54:
- Uffz Reiscke shot down during take off at Prag-Rusin
- Lt Mai shot down by Mustangs near Klotzsche
Uffz Bruno Reischke was killed and buried in the area of Slany according to the WAST.

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Rudi.
