Gilbert Geisendorfer,DKiG
Gentlemen,
Have you got anymore information about Gilbert Geisendorfer who was a German Cross in Gold winner of KG-51? I read some accounts of his flying experiences in the He-111 bomber over the Eastern Front in a book called Kampfgeschwader 53 "Legion Condor" by Heinz Kiehl. He had so far completed 254 combat missions and was a Oberleutnant in the middle of 1943. What was his total combat sorties before the end of WWII? Nothing so far of his combat flying of late 1943,the entire year of 1944,and the few early months of 1945. Any information about his later combat career is welcome. Sincerely, Edward L. Hsiao
