Seeking loss details for Stab/KG76 15.8.40
Hi, I believe I have conflicting information on the 15.8.40 concerning Dornier 17's of Stab/KG76.
Do17Z Oblt.Lommatzich( Battle over Britain by Francis K Mason) crew returned unhurt. Only Lommatsch ( BoBTN Winston G Ramsey ) sev.wia (died 7.9.40), Fw.Winterhalder also wounded in action. Raid on Redhill Aerodrome. Do17Z Hptm Erich Laszig piloted possibly one of the two a/c? Gen.Mjr.Stefan Froehlich Geschwader Kommodore also on board one of these a/c? Who can confirm these names or provide actual loss details. Any help would be appreciated. Best regs, Steve.
