Re: Sgt. John Stanger

John F Stanger, aged 20, death is on Free BMD in the Jan to March Quarter and registered in the Registration District of Pembroke.

A likely aircraft for 125 Sqn on 15 January 1943 is Beaufighter X8134, In sea South of Smalls. Ditched, believed due to engine trouble, according to David J Smith. No crew given.

Bas

Excuse my ignorance. What is the Henk Welting archive?
Something on the internet or just something you are privy to?

Cheers

Re: Sgt. John Stanger

Hi Stig,

Henk passed on a few years ago.
Henk was a member of SGLO ( the Dutch Air War Studygroup) and a major contributor to RAF Commands researching RAF servicemen worldwide. His archive was left to SGLO.
