Losses over Moscow the night of 22-23 July 1941
Information about Luftwaffe losses over Moscow on the night of the second raid is rather vague. Generally most sources seem to take the loss on 5 aircraft for granted but no source can identify what aircraft or which formations these losses occurred in. Can anyone shed more light on this ?
Thanks in advance Oquaig |

Re: Losses over Moscow the night of 22-23 July 1941
So far I found one source that states only two He 111s were lost that night one of them an He 111H from KG 26, the other unknown. There is also a Soviet claim for 3 Ju 88s shot down by fighters (which I doubt) but I find no record of loss for KG 3 on this night. Any thoughts ?P { margin-bottom: 0.08in; }
