Spitfire wreckage ?
Hello,
from e-bay http://www.ebay.de/itm/WK2-Foto-Rave...wAAOSwvt1WRMkj Date on back is 28-1-42 Aircraft in Squadron letter "W". Aparently at Raversijde-Flanders. I offer the possibility that the date is when the photo was taken. From what I have it looks like only "RST" was lost on the 28/1/42. So going back from that date I offer "PK-W" of 315 Squadron(Polish) two Spitfire V's, serial's W3573 pilot P/O. M. Lukaszewicz on 23rd November 1941 and BL323 pilot F/L. B. Groszewski on 28th December 1941. Perhaps the wreckage was recovered from the crash site or the sea ? Anyone have another possible Spitfire please ? Re: Spitfire wreckage ?
Definitely a Spitfire but nothing on that date. Wonder if it is W3132 of 91 Sqn 8 Feb 42?
