A loss of a He 111 / II. KG 26 by Eleusis (War diary Cdr. South Greece)

Flugzeugführer Ofw Hoffmann, Heinz, +
Beobachter Ogfr Leidl, Fritz, +
Bordfunker Ogfr Deiterding, Heinz, +
Bordschütze Gefr Heinze, Hermann, +
Fluggast Lt Bietgen, verletzt
Absturz kurz nach Start. Bruch 100 %. Lt Bietgen von Res.Flakschw.Abt. 449 seinen Verletzungen erlegen.

Hi,
it was He 111 H6 (JH+AC, W.Nr. 4196) 50%-60% Bedienungsfehler bei der Landung Fl.Pl. Iraklion, 09.11.41

Sorry, the code I quoted goes with the loss Matti reported.

And the 'J' in 'JH+AC' is certainly a typo for the '1' in '1H+AC'. And it was reported as 50% damaged at Iraklion.
