Hurricane I, P/O Harold A. C. Bird-Wilson, No. 17 Squadron

Hi!

Somebody has some indication of as the call letters of the Hurricane I, flow of P/O Harold A. C. Bird-Wilson, No. 17 Squadron (in Sept. 1940), on the left side?

Of the right it is YB*W. And the left side?

Cheers,

Franklin

YB-W on both sides (squadron codes and individual aircraft identification letters on RAF aircraft are the same on both sides), serial P3878, Hawker built, B camouflage scheme, sky coloured spinner, and personalised artwork of three swords flying towards a stylised German eagle and swastika on cockpit door (starboard side).

HTH,

Tim.

Hi, Tim,

Thank's!

The call letter in right side is YB*W or W*YB?

Cheers,
Franklin
