Disturbing news
Hi guys
Disturbing to read in an English Sunday newspaper of the sale of a stolen DFC by a London auction house on behalf of a recently deceased prominent aviation personality/author. The medal had been stolen 30 years ago but was apparently in the collection of the deceased, who also had the relevant logbook that had been loaned to him recently by the airman's widow. The DFC went for £5,750 to an unnamed buyer. I fear I am not permitted to say more. Brian
