Hptm Hans-Christian Schafer JG5
Hi guys
There is a photo of him standing by the tail of his Bf109, which records eight victories. I believe he claimed two in France May 1940 (with 5./JG27), two with 2./JG77 Norway 1941, followed by four at least with 4./JG5 in 1942. My notes indicate two of these as Hurricanes on 17 Feb 1942 and 4 March 1942. Do we know when he claimed his final (?) two? Cheers Brian
