Hermann Jochems Ju87D-5 codes question
Hermann Jochems spent over 2 years of the war flying recon missions for Stab./StG2/SG2. On 20 August 1944 his ju87D-5 forced down behind the Russian lines and he was taken prisoner.
Aircraft on-hand records show the only D-5 losses for SG2 in August were 24 from III. Gruppe and 1 from 10. Staffel. Can someone please tell me the codes, if known, for the D-5 he flew that day? Thank you Peter
