I./JG 52 on March 11 1945?
Hello,
I have found one document in archive where is confirmation of shot-down 5 Il-2s on March 11 1945 by Lt. Resch (2), Ogefr. Schumacher (1), Oblt. Klemenz (1) and Uffz. Roll (1) around 12 o´clock in Area of villages Ksiezyce-Damianowo-Goszalkow Gorny-Konary-Dragomilowice-Jenkow. Villages are situated east of Jawor (former Jauer) and north of Strzegom (former Striegau), Silesia, Poland. I can not identify unit, but I suppose it could be I./JG 52´s fighters. Can somebody confirm it? I am interested in if somebody somewhere (in books, articles etc.) described this dog-fight as well. Could somebody help me? Thanks Michal
