Accidentally ramming a B17 on 2.Feb.43

We all probably know the photo of "All American" returning badly damaged from a raid to Tunis. Now I have got a booklet "Pride of Seattle" Squadron Signal, with an artists image of the incident. I have tried to find the name of the Lw Pilot, Unit, Fate - but no success. Any help welcomed.

Thank you, John

I will try to find out more about the fate of Lt Kunz. AFAIK no Lw pilot
who had such a close encounter with an enemy Heavy and survived,
kept this impression for himself (Bob, Dahl a.s.o.) So there must be a
record of the pilots point of view somewhere around. I'll keep you in-
formed.

Cheers
