Translated by Google:

The Versuchsverband des Oberbefehlshabers der Luftwaffe is one of the most mysterious associations of the German Air Force,
not least because after the end of World War II there were hardly any records or documents on this association.
The insurance association was founded in 1943 by renaming the 4th (F ) / Ob. D. L. and the "Gartenfeld Group" set up on the command route
reorganized as a result of a demand by the Wehrmacht High Command. The tasks of this new association were varied and extended from the strategic
and tactical reconnaissance for the OKW, over the "transport role" for the OKW office group foreign / defense / foreign armies up to the aircraft field tests
for all weapon generals, but especially for the General of the reconnaissance aircraft. In February 1944, the 2nd Squadron,
as the Gartenfeld group was called from 1943, was spun off from the association and formed the basis for a new combat squadron - the KG 200.

The author is Jan Horn who has a pretty good reputation as a researcher and author. At 342 pages, the book should provide very detailed coverage of the Versuchsverband d. Ob.d.L./OKL.
