Lancaster NF972 OJ-H No.149 (East India) Squadron FTR March 1st 1945

Hi all,

Looking for any details on the above loss. I am especially looking to correctly I.D the five survivors, and what happened to them. Bill Chorley has them as PoWs, but I have been unable to find any confirmation of that, or possible camps I have checked the usual places, but drew a blank. I know the circumstances, but was hoping to locate a PoW or Liberation Report, but again I have drawn a blank. Any pointers most welcome.

TIA

Steve
