Swedish pilot Ulf Christiernsson in 680 Sq.
Hello everybody!
The Swedish pilot Ulf Christiernsson (http://surfcity.kund.dalnet.se/swedish_aviators/christiernsson.htm) served as a volunteer in 680 RAF Sq. equipped with Mosquitos. In 1947 he was interviewed by a Swedish magazine where he states that he met a Me262 over Lechfeld during the summer of 1944 (August?). Unfortunately I don’t have access to 680 Sq. ORB nor later editions of Forman’s “The Messerschmitt Me.262 Combat Diary”. Is there anyone who has more info on which date this encounter took place? Best wishes/Håkan
