D-Day claim for a Ju 88 from 3.(F)/123
Good morning.
The Ju 88 (probably a D version) flown by Uffz Karl Huber from 3.(F)/123 was apparently claimed by a P-47 Thunderbolt and crashed near Languidic, near Landevant. I have checked the US credits for destruction of enemy aircrafts, here (https://www.dafhistory.af.mil/Portal...090601-121.pdf) and got no joy in cross-checking who (pilot) or which unit (Squadron) did claim a Ju 88 on the 6th June 1944. Most of the claims I found were for Bf 10 Fw 190, Ju 87 (probably on the ground at Janville), etc. Any clues to WHO claimed the 3.(F)/123 machine flown by Uffz Karl Huber ? Adriano |
