Hello,
is anyone able to help with following questions? I would like to know the exact date of his USMC joining and also when he left the USMC. Thanks. Regards Zdenek Kocab

He enlisted on 18 May 42 in New Orleans LA. He is in the Navy Pre-Flight School, Athens Ga muster list of 30 Jun 42 as Sea2c, Service No. 551-13-50, arriving there on 11 Jun 42. He was transferred from Athens on 2 Sep 42 to NRAB New Orleans LA. He is in the 1956 Marine Ledger as a Capt., but does not show up again in the Ledger for 1962. I'm assuming that he left the service somewhere between 19f6 and 1962. Sorry I couldn't give more accurate info on the date he left the service.
